With the decline in birth rate in Singapore over the decades, it is not unusual that a family consist of only one child or at most two.  The role of who being the “boss” of the family took a turn as well.  It used to be our dad or mom bossing us around when we were young.  But now, things changed.  Parents nowadays, are being “bossed” around by their kids.  And they loved it.  We are proud of them. We wanted the best for them. Their daily nutritional diet, their education, their toys, their ways, their car seat, their signature. “What? Signature.”  Yes.  A signature where a baby boy or girl is inside the car, we wanted to tell the on coming driver behind to drive carefully as there is a baby on board.  And he/she is my BOSS!
